At last! Even a #church roof held together over the years by steel rods, glue & chocks can be restored to its original symmetrical beauty & structural integrity. A big thank you to @rickrwf & his team of skilled #craftsman from all at St Leonard’s. #flamheritage#history#herts
St Leonard’s proudly sports a shiny new waterproof roof- beneath which the medieval timbers have been fully restored which could not have been possible without the help of all our generous fundraisers and of course, the #nationallottery#heritagefund#hlfsupported. 🙏🏻 ⛪️ 😀
The UK should be very proud of what you have done. Every one of you have displayed the highest levels of professionalism and bravery. You have helped thousands to get to a better future and safety. Thank you. @16AirAssltBde @VAdmBenKey @DefenceHQ
Today is the RAF's Founders' Day and our 103rd Birthday.
Our motto, "Per Ardua Ad Astra", rings truer than ever & we wish @UKSpaceCmd well as they also look beyond the stars.
We thought we would share some memories of the past century.
