the whole family had a violent stomach bug 2 days ago which was the worst I had ever felt. UNTIL today when I experienced a kidney stone which had me begging for stomach bug.

Dad’s surgery was a success and he was doing well. Planning to fly home Sunday. Jk they removed something that caused bleeding around his heart and they had to operate again.

My dad is having heart surgery tomorrow so I flew out to be with him. The last time he was sick like this I lost Caspian. I remember thinking how can I plan his funeral with a newborn when in the end I planned my baby’s funeral. I felt like I somehow traded one life for another
