Thinking of buying a new car?
A car is usually a 10–15 year commitment. But fuel policies, emission norms, and vehicle technologies are changing faster than ever.
Most Indian vehicles were never designed for E20, yet Modi ji's govt & Gadkari ji keep pushing towards E30 and even E100.
As an Indian, I pay full price for my car + taxes on it, pay road tax, pay tolls, pay Centre + state tax on every litre of fuel, pay parking charges… and in return I get $h¡tty infrastructure and now even $h¡ttier forced ethanol-blended fuel that was never meant for most cars on the road.
If I want pure petrol, I should be allowed to buy it. Period.
This ethanol experiment on the common man & their vehicles has made us lab rats.

Everyone should avoid/postpone buying a new car for atleast 5 years.
Let them do E100. Just don't buy a new car.
Doesn't make sense with daily policy changes overnight.
Looks like we are doomed!
What if the cars get damaged due to E20, and the insurance doesn't support the claim?
Who will bear the costs?
We pay road tax, car tax, fuel tax... if the car gets damaged, should we just sell it as scrap, pay tax on the scrap income too? 🤷♂️
What's happening in this country, @nitin_gadkari ji?
You are introducing some fancy mix of fuel every day without any ecosystem support?
Why is there no buy in from insurance companies or manufacturers?
Use of E20 can lead to claims rejection. I don't want to use E20. Do I have a choice at the fuel station?
Why are we being taken for a ride?
I hope that everyone is aware by now that all such events happen at public expenses.
Those dancers are booked through some company and have to be paid(They didn't come on their own to welcome the joker as the post claims). The hall is booked at a substantial cost for all this drama. The cameraman too.
One of the basic rules of leadership is leading by example. So what happened to austerity push and difficult times? Sab theek ho gaya kya?

People should avoid buying cars, scooties, and bikes till the 2027 Q4.
Tab jakar they'll get restless and change policies and work for the people of India.
I don't understand what kind of uncertain policy is this... Regulations are made overnight without any testing and then they outright reject claims of engine damage.
The government provided Rs 1.23 lakh crore to oil marketing companies to help keep #petrol and #diesel prices unchanged for 78 days following the outbreak of the #MiddleEast crisis, as per reports citing sources.
