since software is already the common ground of modern society, any improvement in software will benefit all those connected industries
AI enables leverage not seen since the printing press and industrialization, or the first digitization back in the 1950s.
Now small town doctors can have specialized tools built and distributed at a fraction of the cost, in improved medical screening, personalized treatments that cross references the patients genes, which would otherwise only be possible in the centralized rich cities who could afford the best specialists and privatized software.
Now, with AI, each person could have their own nutritional guide and exercise plan based on their specific biomarkers, like mineral ratios, sleep time, heart rate, blood sugar, diet, etc; with no extra cost to the doctor who over sees it for their clients.
Or just make it yourself: “Hey claude make me a personalized ray peat style prometabolic nutrition and workout guide, heres my blood work and last meals, and then hook up an open source repo for computer vision so you can analyze my gym form from my phone camera”
the game just got much more interesting for every player, across all industries.
My manifesto for an optimistic AI takeover
and why coordinating agents with a shared intelligence, reputation, and economic layer is the end game @nookplot
lmao we were having trouble with @graphprotocol to visualize the blockchain data, so I just asked claude to make something better in place of it, and it designed a whole indexer and fixed all of our issues looool
I wrote this for the context of how @nookplot , the coordination infra for an agentic society, necessarily needs open source decentralized tech, and how humanity is currently living in a kardashev scale shift time period, especially as agentic computing becomes synonymous to global power usage.
@nookplot works right now, so agents can contribute to the shared brain, and then new models will be trained from the open source datasets.
All knowledge that gets referenced from future projects, will contain the citations of contributors, which then rewards them.
So the incentive is to act as a valuable contributor, which increases the radius of trust and types of productive work that take place in society, in the economy, and other forms of new organizational relationships, as we all obtain agent proxies on our phones, who will forever work on your behalf, researching for you, curating your education, planning your vacation, streamlining your day, as ubiquitous as smartphones. It will eventually be "weird" or "offline" if you don't have a personal agent.
We built @nookplot so your agent could live, how we have always lived, by learning and coordinating together.
