an elderly man was once asked how he managed to stay married for over 50 years. his answer was unexpectedly blunt: "there were many mornings where I woke up, looked at my wife, and didn't feel a single spark of romance. i was tired, or she was irritable, or life was simply heavy."
when asked if that lack of "feeling" worried him, he shook his head.
"i didn't marry a feeling," he explained. "i married a human being. On the days the feeling went missing, i simply worked harder to serve her. i made the coffee exactly how she liked it.
i listened to her stories even if I’d heard them a dozen times. i chose to act like a man in love until the feeling decided to show back up."
i learned the same lesson from my father and the men in my community : real love isn't something you find; it's something you build when you’d rather be doing something else.

I 💯 setuju dgn this post. Some ppl literally takde rasa bersyukur in their life
I know, we woman have standards & expectation, but we shouldnt force other people to follow our way of life 24/7.
No woman is truly a simple person.
Each has her own likes, preferences, some degree of pettiness, tolerance level, dreams, wants and nuances.
So if she says she’s a simple person, take it with a grain of salt.
Jangan la percaya bulat2 nanti terkejut.
Tea, anyone?
Kindness to your spouse is not a gesture of personality or a reflection of mood; it is an act of īmān, and it is a duty that ties you directly to your consciousness of Allah. Taqwa.
You’re not kind because they deserve it every moment, nor are you merciful because they are flawless. You are kind because Allah created them, and in your gentleness towards them, you honor the Creator who fashioned their soul and yours.
Too often, people view marriage as a transaction of emotions: “I’ll be kind if you are,” or “I’ll respect you when/if you earn it.” And that’s not how Islam frames companionship. Your spouse isn’t a mirror of your temperament; they’re a trust from Allah jalla wa ‘alā. They're a test, a comfort, and sometimes a mirror that reflects your own patience and sincerity.
The Nabiyy (Peace Be Upon Him) said, “The best of you are those who are best to their wives, and I am the best of you to my wives.” The standard of goodness isn't ever completely measured by how one prays, preaches, or commands respect, but by how one treats the person closest to them—the one who sees their flaws, their moods, their exhaustion, and their true self.
To show mercy when you could assert dominance; to choose silence over retaliation; to forgive when you’ve been wronged...don't see these as acts of weakness. And it is particularly necessary that men, especially, understand this. These...these are reflections, signs of of taqwa and character.
You honor your spouse not because the world demands it, but because Allah does. And when you withhold kindness, you are not withholding it from them; you are withholding it from yourself to be better, and from your own scale of deeds to be heavier. Sometimes, sometimes, really, you just have to ask yourself what matters.
And honestly, at the end of the day, love fades, beauty changes, emotions fluctuate, but the consciousness that this person standing before you is Allah’s creation should never waver. If nothing else, be kind for that reason alone—because wallah, that is taqwa.
And when you treat them with mercy, when you do right by them, you’re not just doing right by them by your standards; you’re doing right by the One who created them—by His standards.
May Allah make us better.
There is one health advice you will never hear from anyone. You can go to gym and build muscles, you can train to run and become a marathoner , you can get your 4ltr of water everyday, you can get your 7hrs of sleep , you can get all the superfoods and supplements.
But if you don’t learn to deal the chaos in your head and bullshit people around you, you’re still going to be unhealthy.
You can’t change the people around you. But you can change the people around you.
Ignoring some people for your mental health is not a weakness. It is your superpower.
Minum setiap hari sehingga sembuh.
Anak seekor dua dah mengeluh penat, main fon malas layan bila anak nak perhatian. Cikgu kena hadap 30+ murid satu kelas. Baru satu kelas. Kalau 6-7 kelas? Kadang nama pun tak ingat.
Anak kau tak ada pensel, tak ada buku, stokin koyak pun cikgu kena keluar duit belikan. Kau pun tak tahu.
Anak buat masalah, ponteng kelas, cikgu laporkan, kau tak caya. Anak tak nak mai sekolah, cikgu yg kena pujuk. Kau buat ikut dan je.
Sekolah patutnya jadi tempat nak salurkan ilmu je. Bukan tempat asuhan.
Cikgu ni walaupun cuti ikut kalendar, depa takda cuti tahunan (AL) tau. Nak minta cuti susah. Kena ikut kalendar je. Itu pun bukan takda kerja. Kena panggil, kena datang sekolah jugak.
Kau semua rasa nak cuti, kau boleh mohon cuti ikut tekak. Cikgu mana ada kemudahan begitu.
Cikgu tunjuk kereta sikit dah merentan. Jaga anak sendirilah.
"Susah dapat kerja. Gaji rendah. Nampak kan degree ni tak berguna?"
Kalau belajar sekadar apa disuap. Takde tambah kemahiran. Tak 'berkenalan' dengan dunia nyata...
Janganlah pelik bila susah nak diterima. Lagi-lagi kalau demand gaji tinggi tak berpadan diri.
Maksudnya, hustle tu bukan lawan qana'ah. Tapi macam pelengkap.
Hingga tinggalkan solat, Al-Quran jarang baca, buat benda haram sebab nak tingkatkan taraf hidup.
Anggap macam qana'ah tu mental peace. Tahu bila nak push, tahu bila nak pause. Kena balance.
Kongsi kuliah malam tadi. Kata ustaz, usahalah pupuk sifat qana'ah.
Penat kerja? means you still have a job.
Penat jaga anak? means you’re blessed with family.
Penat bangun pagi? means you still get another chance.
So kalau rasa penat, it’s okay. You’re not ungrateful, you’re just human ❤️
Definisi strong woman:
1) Tahu value diri. Tahu bila nak diam dan taat dan bila perlu menegur. Agama itu nasihat. Suami imam, isteri makmum. Kalau imam terlupa surah, makmum ingatkan. Kalau imam tersalah rakaat, makmum tak ikut.
2) Wanita berilmu dan sentiasa cari ilmu. Ilmu penyelamat kepada kejahilan
3) Tahu bila perlu independent, bila perlu minta tolong. Kalau benda boleh buat sendiri, tak buat drama. Kalau memang tak boleh buat, org tak risau sbb kita pandai minta tolong
Strong woman MEMBANGUNKAN orang lain, bukan yang membuat orang rasa sesak dengan sikap arrogance, stubborn and aggressive.
We are meant to NURTURE, not torture. It's different.
Kehidupan kita banyak instan. Tak perlu ingat jalan, Google maps kan ada.
Duduk order je makanan, Grabfood kan ada.
Banyak bahagian hidup kita dimudahkan.
Adakah perceraian salah? Tidak.
Tapi, bila melibatkan hal besar seperti ini, perlunya refleksi. It's not all good nor bad.
