Hi @simonevigod, I’m a Wilfrid Laurier University student wondering if you could share your opinion on why there is a negative stigma associated with Postpartum Depression? Any thoughts on what we can do to break the stigma? Thank you!
Hi @simonevigod, I’m a Wilfrid Laurier University student researching the stigma around Postpartum Depression. I was wondering if you could get back to me and answer a couple questions I had (regarding the causes, risks, treatment, etc). Thank you!
Ukrainian and Russian negotiators ended a third round of talks Monday with little progress, while Ukraine’s military held fast along several fronts and Russia continued to shell cities and residential areas https://t.co/pnJDQjJfkO
The first few weeks in EM203: Learn 280 Characters or Less have given me the opportunity to learn and understand how our education system, including learning theories and different curriculums, must change to fit and flow more in the "digital age". #EM203Robin
@JordanMeikle1 Hi Jordan, I completely agree that EM203 is one of the most engaging courses I’ve ever taken. I’ve never had a course that’s forced me to engage with this many students virtually! I look forward to the rest of the semester
@MylesFaierstein Hi myles, I’ve learned quite a bit about applicable learning theories as well. I was wondering if there are anyways you can apply Behaviourism to your everyday life?
@berniiceso Hi Bernice! The first 3 weeks have taught me a lot too. I was curious as to how you applied these new methods of learning to your everyday life?
@em203yasmeen Hey Yasmeen! I agree learning is very complex in today’s digital age, especially when there’s such a large variety in formats of media. I’d love to see a photo of your knitted square!
After three lessons in EM203, I’ve learned a lot about how we learn in the digital age. I’ve been introduced to the three M’s, and have learned that information can be portrayed in a variety of different forms of media (text, video) and enables people to multi-task. #EM203Robin
@DrElizabethOlds#PerceptionScavengerHunt this video represents sound separation: you can hear my brother giving commands to our dog, but you can also hear the sirens from the busy streets of Toronto
#PerceptionScavengerHunt@DrElizabethOlds This photo is an example of implied motion. Although the image is still, you can tell my puppy is about to jump up to grab the stick. My brothers hand, the stick, my puppy's body language are all cues.
#PerceptionScavengerHunt@DrElizabethOlds This represents top-down processing. This video doesn't include the name of the art or the artist, however if you are familiar or visited the exhibit, you would recognize right away that this is a painting done by famous painter Van Gogh.

This photo represents Visual Attention (things that blend in). It's hard to notice my puppy Junior because he easily blends in with the rest of his siblings.
