@emilymkaplan All Star Game should be 6 international teams. Canada. USA. Sweden. Russia. Finland. Rest of the World. 3 v 3 Tournament. 2 pools of 3. Saturday afternoon. Saturday night. Final 4 on Sunday. Short 20 minute games.

@FriedgeHNIC In the odd years the NHL should replace the All Star Game with a 3 v 3 World Cup. Wouldn't take more than 3 days with 20 minute games.

@bruce_arthur There should be one set of rules for all football in order to grow the sport. Rugby is the only other sport that has significant differences between formats. All other major sports have the same rules and format throughout the world.

@CFLGURU I wonder how much of a difference it would make if they played 5-10 minutes each quarter and the clock stopped after every play. Reduce timeouts to 1 or 2 per half.

Each sport should have one set of rules. Sure, different versions exist. For example, cricket has Test, ODI, T20, T10, The Hundred... But the laws of the game are standard everywhere in the world.
