Today in Kifri, @RwangaFdn hosted the Spring and Kifri Festival in coordination with the Kifri District authorities.

During the call, Ms. Cooper strongly condemned the recent attacks on the Kurdistan Region, including yesterday’s drone strike targeting President Barzani’s residence in Duhok. She also expressed her sympathy and solidarity with the families of the heroic Peshmerga who were killed or injured in the latest attacks.

Ms. Cooper reaffirmed that the United Kingdom places great importance on the peace and stability of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, and reiterated Britain’s continued commitment to cooperation and support.

During the call, the Turkish Foreign Minister strongly condemned the drone attack that targeted President Nechirvan Barzani’s residence in Duhok earlier today. He also reaffirmed Türkiye’s support for safeguarding the security and stability of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
