Had an excellent meeting with Nobel Laureate Anton Zeilinger. His work in quantum mechanics is pathbreaking and will continue to guide generations of researchers and innovators. His passion for knowledge and learning was clearly visible. I talked about India’s efforts like the National Quantum Mission and how we are nurturing an ecosystem for tech and innovation.

I am also delighted to receive his book along with a very touching message.

किसान-कल्याण हेतु निरंतर समर्पित आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री @narendramodi जी और माननीय केंद्रीय मंत्री श्री @ChouhanShivraj जी की उपस्थिति में आज वाराणसी में आयोजित 'किसान सम्मान सम्मेलन' में 'प्रधानमंत्री किसान सम्मान निधि' की 17वीं किस्त के रूप में उत्तर प्रदेश के 2 करोड़ 6 लाख 75 हजार अन्नदाता किसानों समेत देश भर के 9.26 करोड़ से अधिक किसान बंधुओं के खाते में ₹20 हजार करोड़ से अधिक की धनराशि हस्तांतर���त हुई है। इस अवसर पर स्वयं सहायता समूहों से जुड़ी कृषि सखियों को प्रमाण-पत्र भी वितरित किए गए।

आजादी के बाद वर्ष 2014 में पहली बार किसान भाई-बहन देश की राजनीति के एजेंडे का हिस्सा बने हैं। प्रधानमंत्री जी के यशस्वी नेतृत्व में किसानों के लिए अनेक योजनाएं चलाई जा रही हैं, जिनके सुखद परिणाम देश के सामने हैं। आज किसानों की आमदनी बढ़ी है और उनके जीवन में सकारात्मक परिवर्तन आया है।
