Thank you to the @reviewjournal for shedding light on the egregious actions of the @ClarkCountySch in response to AB175. Their latest maneuver to undermine the appointed advisory members is a blatant subversion of the law and a direct affront to the legislative process. It's a clear case of muzzling essential voices that were brought in to elevate and diversify our educational discourse.

As a co-sponsor of AB175, I am outraged by the Board's obstinate refusal to engage in meaningful dialogue and their shameful prioritization of self-interest over the educational welfare of our students. Such contempt for legislative intent and democratic principles is intolerable and demands immediate correction.

We must demand accountability and aggressively challenge this flagrant disregard for legislative authority. The Clark County School Board's actions are a slap in the face to all who advocate for better education and transparent governance. Our students deserve advocates, not autocrats obstructing progress and silencing valuable contributions.

I vow to prioritize holding this Board accountable in the next legislative session. The era of them playing politics with our children's future is over. We will take decisive steps to ensure our education system aligns with the best interests of our students and the community's desire for forward-looking change. @sbilbray
