Folks, tomorrow is July 1st, and every Maryland commuter can expect an increase in gas taxes.

To make matters worse, making a trip to the MVA is a nightmare when factoring in potential fees for Maryland commuters.

- Car Registration Fee: $241 to $383
- Vehicle Emissions Inspections: $30
- Vehicle Excise Taxes: 6.5%
- Gas Tax Rate: 46.6 cents per gallon
- Vehicle Tire Surcharge: $5 per tire
- Title/Certificate of Title Fees: $200

Unfortunately, we’re not even getting a strong return on our investment. Maryland ranks 46th in the nation in roadway and highway development. Yet, 52% of the Transportation Trust Fund spending goes to public transit, and only 26% of spending goes to roadways and highways.

When I get to Annapolis, I’m going to make sure that there are caps on funding that goes to public transit and make sure that those taxpayer dollars go to infrastructure improvements on roadways and highways.

We will make smart and strategic reductions in spending to ensure that Maryland commuters see relief while enjoying much-needed infrastructure improvements in our state!

Democratic candidates across the state are campaigning on higher taxes. Today, they're getting exactly what they wanted. Celebrate accordingly.

Here's how it works: Maryland's gas tax is tied to the inflation rate. You lived through the Biden years. You felt a 12-cent-per-gallon increase at the pump in 2021-2023. The numbers don't lie.

This session, when prices were skyrocketing, Republicans attempted to offer a fuel tax holiday to save citizens money at the pump. That initiative was voted down by Annapolis Democrats, who would rather make higher prices a political issue than provide relief to their citizens. I think it is important to remember that when the middle-class Marylanders needed relief, they turned their backs on you.

And what do Marylanders get in return for these sky-high taxes? A mere 26% of the Transportation Trust Fund actually goes to roads and bridges, while the overwhelming majority of the TTP is spent on the mass-transit utopia.

Republicans, myself included, have fought to stop this automatic tax hike with common-sense legislation. The Annapolis Democrats? They won't even allow it a committee vote.

So here's the bottom line: if you're fed up with the direction Maryland is heading, you have the power to change it. You, your neighbors, your family. This election is your opportunity. Use it wisely.

"This gets you right past the election," he warned. And what happens next? "Order of business number one is the biggest financial reckoning the state has seen in years."

When Governor Wes Moore says he wants a task force on “immigrant rights,” every Marylander should hear the quiet part out loud. He means illegal alien rights. Legal immigrants in our state already enjoy full legal protections, special healthcare programs, education benefits, and pathways to citizenship. They followed the rules. They earned their place.

What Moore proposes is something else entirely. It’s a taxpayer-funded committee to expand benefits, shield lawbreakers from federal enforcement, and blur the line between those who obey the law and those who don’t. That’s not compassion. It’s an incentive structure that rewards illegal entry while punishing the taxpayers footing the bill and the legal immigrants who did it the right way.

The hypocrisy is staggering. Maryland faces a $3 billion budget deficit, skyrocketing utility bills from failed green energy mandates, and a state government that fails audit after audit and struggles to get you the correct mail-in ballot.

Yet Moore’s priority is launching another bureaucracy to advocate for people here unlawfully. Explain to the people of Maryland how a task force on illegal alien rights helps pay for their car registration fees or groceries?

We don't need more task forces. We need leadership that will focus on Marylanders. It's time to make Maryland livable again.

The globalist war on Western civilization has achieved its most sickening milestone. Left-wing multiculturalism has completely castrated law enforcement, turning Western cities into hunting grounds where native citizens are criminalized for dying.

Look at the tragic sacrifice of Henry Nowak, an innocent 18-year-old British university student with a brilliant future. He lies dead because institutionalized woke ideology has broken the brains of modern police forces.

During a confrontation in Southampton, a 23-year-old suspect named Vickrum Digwa hunted Henry down with an illegal, eight-inch blade. This weapon far exceeded even the absurd legal loopholes that spineless leftist politicians granted to protect ceremonial weapons in public spaces. Henry fled for his life, bleeding heavily from catastrophic wounds while his attacker aggressively pursued him through the streets.

When law enforcement arrived, the attacker deployed the ultimate leftist shield: a weaponized accusation of racism.

What followed is the defining horror story of modern progressivism:

1. Brain-rotted police officers immediately believed the attacker's fraudulent victim narrative.

2. Officers ignored the gaping stab wounds of a native British teenager and forced him into handcuffs.

Henry Nowak took his final breaths on the cold concrete, treated like a criminal by his own government while his killer stood by, protected by the toxic privilege of identity politics.

While Henry died in chains, tribal networks immediately went to work. The suspect’s mother, Kiran Kaur, allegedly scrubbed the crime scene and hid the murder weapon at the family home. This is the exact multicultural utopia that liberals voted for: insulated migrant communities subverting the law while the state machinery crushes the native populace.

Morally bankrupt leftist elites engineered this exact system of two-tier policing. Liberals have replaced equal justice with a perverse racial hierarchy where a weaponized allegation of offensive words carries more weight than a severed artery. They have created an environment where white citizens are expected to apologize for their own murders.

Progressives have turned law enforcement into an administrative weapon that coddles the lawless and shackles the victim. They want you compliant, disarmed, and utterly defenseless against imported chaos.

Bravo to Rosalind Hanson and the Montgomery County Moms for Liberty for standing tall at the MoCo Board of Education and exposing the truth.
While the Southern Poverty Law Center faces a federal grand jury indictment for allegedly funneling millions to KKK leaders, Montgomery County Public Schools has been spending ONE MILLION taxpayer dollars on a K-2 social studies curriculum explicitly aligned to the SPLC’s radical “Social Justice Standards.”
This is the same SPLC that smeared Moms for Liberty as “extremists” for the crime of wanting to know what their children are being taught.

So tell me 60 Minutes... WHERE WAS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT?

Tell me, WHY did all these volunteers NEED to show up?
