I would like to thank all my fellow nominees who, like me, are dedicated to delivering drinking water to their respective communities. Your work advocating for safe and sustainable water inspires me each day.

The Meter Challenge was a fun event! Dakota Kemper took home the gold 🥇 with a lightning-fast time of 48 seconds, earning him a spot representing this subsection at the annual conference in May. Congratulations to Mr. Kemper and TVWD on their impressive achievement!

- In-city crews responded to more than 4,000 calls about emergency water shutoffs, main breaks, and frozen services. (Our emergency dispatch line received a record of a whopping 1,093 calls in one day!)

- We worked around the clock to repair 15 main breaks throughout the city.
