Team Canada Olympic Day Grant provides funding to increase access to sport in schools while also giving athletes the opportunity to inspire students through their stories.10 grants of $5,000 are available for schools. https://t.co/oJVuWsObjj #schoolsportforall
In response to your tweet, I’m actually not the one who engaged you or anyone for that matter. I am however the uncle of that youth and a firm believer and advocate Safe Sport, having zero tolerance for those that abuse their power or violate that in anyway.
Sport should be a safe place for athletes, free of discrimination, intimidation and bullying of any sort.
I hope @btb_soccer@UABearsSoccer@UAlberta @AlbertaSoccer does something about the conduct of head coach @bosch_kurt calling one of them ******* mutt #safesportforall
When three-time Olympian Neville Wright was invited to join Canada's national men's soccer team at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, his role wasn't as an athlete but to support them. https://t.co/N9MdK7EMtj
@stevemagness Goals can easily become distractions and can eventually lead to disappointment if focused on too much. Instead, use the Goals as motivators while focusing on the Process. The Process is the blueprint to working towards those goals and the place where most growth happens.
BCS AGM is back on tonight. It's without a doubt that there needs to be a change in leadership.
Culture, Safety, Good Governance and the overall Well-being of the athletes begins with proper leadership.
Lets #pushforchange
The AGM has been moved to Whistler. Great way to isolate the athletes without having the support like they did in Calgary.
Don’t be surprised if their next steps are to invalidate as many member and athlete votes as possible at the AGM.
#pushforchange#supportpushforchange
Update:
• After the BCS President walks out of AGM preventing a vote for athletes & members
•No communication for over 2 weeks, then provides notice to resume AGM
• No information on “whistle blower” regarding membership eligibility
•New location which is now out of province
•AGM date is set on the day the athletes travel.
•Official training for racing starts the following day after AGM
•You are required to be there in-person (OUT OF PROVINCE)
If there was ever a question of being intentional with a personal agenda, this is the most blatant act.

I’m pretty sure any athlete that walks out during something this important like an evaluation, would lose both team status and funding.
Key word for today #Accountability
2 weeks since the BCS President walked out of the AGM denying athletes and members the right to vote. Zero Update or communication.
Remind me again of this “Democratic Process” and whose best interest is being considered....I’m pretty sure it doesn’t include athletes or members.
