At our Woking meeting today a 20+ audience, including the Woking B.C. Leader, heard from James O'Neill, Commercial Director, Stagecoach South, that their Woking routes are doing well in ridership terms - nearly 100% growth on route 34 since it was taken over from Arriva in 2021.

SO important. We need to invest more in speeding up buses (unpopular with motorists), making bus services more sustainable, and not spending quite so much of the available funding on short term 'populist' measures eg fares reductions and service increases.

From 1st June 2026, we will be making some changes to our ticket prices.

We have worked hard to keep any increases as low as possible, & we are pleased to confirm that some ticket prices will remain unchanged.
