life here is very different from the fast pace of living in an urban u.s. city. people are warm and work together to support their community members. access to resources can be a challenge, but everyone offers what they have, even to strangers.
life is crazy. i’m spending most of this month on an indigenous reservation in costa rica. spent the 4th playing with native families at a waterfall near the village i’m living at. i speak very little spanish, but the kids are teaching me a lot through games and play.
