I. SUPREME COURT ORAL ARGUMENT (SIMULATION)
š§āāļø Chief Justice (Roberts)
Question:
Counsel, isnāt your rule effectively denying citizenship to a child based on the unlawful conduct of the parents?
Your Answer:
Your Honor, respectfully, no. This case is not about penalizing either the parent or the child. It is about determining whether the Constitution confers citizenship at birth in these circumstances. The Citizenship Clause contains a limiting requirementāāsubject to the jurisdiction thereofāāand the question is whether that requirement is satisfied. If it is not, then citizenship was never granted in the first place.

š§āāļø Justice Sotomayor
Question:
But the child has done nothing wrong. Why should they bear the consequences of their parentsā actions?
Your Answer:
Justice Sotomayor, the child is not bearing a consequence in the legal sense. Non-citizenship is the default condition worldwide. Citizenship is a constitutional grant that must be satisfied under specific criteria. The issue here is not punishment, but whether the constitutional criteria are met.
āø»
š§āāļø Justice Kagan
Question:
For over a century, weāve understood birth on U.S. soil to confer citizenship except in narrow cases. Why should we disrupt that settled understanding?
Your Answer:
Justice Kagan, the Court has always recognized that the Clause contains a limitation. The phrase āsubject to the jurisdiction thereofā must have independent meaning. The question is whether that meaning has been interpreted too broadly, reducing it to mere physical presence. The Constitution requires more than that.
āø»
š§āāļø Justice Thomas
Question:
What is your best evidence that ājurisdictionā meant allegiance at the time of ratification?
Your Answer:
Justice Thomas, contemporaneous usage and the structure of the Clause indicate that jurisdiction referred to complete political subjection, not merely the ability to enforce laws. The inclusion of the limiting phrase suggests that the framers intended to exclude categories of persons who had not fully submitted to U.S. sovereignty.
āø»
š§āāļø Justice Alito
Question:
Isnāt deportation itself evidence that these individuals are subject to U.S. jurisdiction?
Your Answer:
Justice Alito, deportation reflects the exercise of temporary enforcement power, not the existence of full political jurisdiction. The Constitutionās use of ājurisdictionā must mean something more enduring than the ability to expel. Otherwise, the limiting clause collapses into redundancy.
āø»
š§āāļø Justice Jackson
Question:
How would your rule be administered? Would we need to investigate every parentās status at birth?
Your Answer:
Justice Jackson, the rule can be administered using objective criteria already present in immigration lawālawful permanent status, citizenship, or other recognized forms of lawful presence. This avoids subjective intent inquiries and provides a clear, administrable standard.

š§ II. WHAT YOU DID WELL (STRATEGIC NOTES)
You:
ā¢Avoided emotional/political framing
ā¢Repeated the key theme: ānot punishment, constitutional interpretationā
ā¢Focused on:
ā¢text
ā¢structure
ā¢administrability
Thatās exactly how a winning argument is built.

š„ III. CLOSING STATEMENT (POWERFUL + CLEAN)
Hereās a tight closing you could actually deliver:
āø»
Closing:
This case is not about punishing parents, and it is not about disadvantaging children.
It is about the Constitution.
The Citizenship Clause does not say that birth alone is sufficient. It says āborn⦠and subject to the jurisdiction thereof.ā Those words must have meaning. If jurisdiction means nothing more than physical presence, then the limiting phrase becomes surplusage.
The Constitution does not operate on assumptions or incentives. It operates on defined criteria. Citizenship is not a universal defaultāit is a legal status conferred under specific constitutional conditions.

AkademiksTV, also known as Grand Wizard, has one of the most documented records of targeting and dehumanizing Black artists on the internet. And the person running it? George Nguyen, an Australian national of Vietnamese descent TMZ who named himself after a racial slur he has no business using, with zero connection to Black American culture, built an entire brand off attacking it from the outside!
The operation traces directly back to DJ Akademiks, a Jamaican-American man who built his name and his money off Black culture and has been using both to platform and amplify this campaign against the very artists and community that made him relevant. Akademiks confirmed AkademiksTV is run by āheavy Drake fansā operating as a direct extension of his platform, which means every fabricated story, every racist post, every attack on a Black artistās family carries his co-sign on it!
The racism from Akademiks himself is not a rumor. Rolling Stone documented that in his āWar In Chiraqā YouTube series, which remains publicly available, he called Chicago a ācesspool of coons that live and breathe like cockroaches,ā declared that young Black people there āarenāt human,ā and said āyou canāt tell me the difference between Chiraq terrorists and the ISIS terrorist group.ā That is the ideological foundation this entire operation was built on and George Nguyen has been the digital foot soldier carrying that same energy through AkademiksTV ever since.
The attacks on Black women connected to this platform are just as documented. Akademiks went on Rumble and called SZA āfat as fuckā and a ādouble-chin chick,ā said āthe titties is not looking tiddyingā and told her āthe doctors, the surgeons canāt fix youā and when Erykah Badu checked him, he responded by calling her a ālittle used up cum ragā and said ānot one n**ga came to your defense, thatās how I know youāve been spreading the pussy all over the industry.ā Two of the most legendary Black women in music, treated like that, on a platform that millions of people consume daily and that AkademiksTV directly amplifies and cosigns.
The legal consequences are now federal. Nguyen is named in a lawsuit accusing him of interacting with bot vendors and overseeing botting and clipping campaigns across social media platforms, compensated through the gambling platform Stake, with the filing explicitly stating the funds were used to ādisparage competitors and music label executivesā and ādistort recommendation algorithms.ā The word disparage written into a federal complaint is the legal description of what this page does to Black artists every single day and while all of this was happening, Akademiks was caught making sexually suggestive remarks directed at a 15-year-old on stream and was forced to publicly say āI am wrong, I will be better.ā
This is the full picture of what Black culture has been funding through AkademiksTV. A non-Black outsider running a documented slander operation, backed by a man who called Black children cockroaches, body-shamed Grammy winners on camera and called legends of the culture cum rags, all while collecting a check from the same community heās helping destroy!
To Be Clear,
Godfrey's podcast is a 'meticulously designed' platform to give Continental Africans a 'safe place' to express their hatred, vitriol, sarcasm, jealousy, and fake statistics against Black Americans.
The budget was approved to roundtable their tethering and hatred.
No one finds it crazy that weāre legit in Caribbean American heritage month and that waited until our specific date to suddenly celebrate their culture?
