@yadavji_codes I dual boot Bazzite and Cachy OS, I have an older laptop running Mint Cinnamon. Bazzite is just a dead simple KDE distro that “just works”. I haven’t tried to daily drive a Gnome desktop. Been about a year of Linux experimentation and discovery

framework sent me a pre-production unit and i'm genuinely blown away by this machine

i've been daily driving a framework machine for over a year and the 13 pro feels 10x more premium

to me the biggest win is battery life: i can confidently say this machine easily lasts me the entire day (and this is with capping my charging to 80% for battery health). i'm someone who always carries a battery bank on me but with this machine battery truly isn't a concern

i can do my work for hours on end and still have hours of battery life to spare. i can go work at a coffee shop and not have to worry about being near an outlet. while it sounds small this gives me immense peace of mind which is what i try to optimize for in my life

and like any framework i can still repair/upgrade any part of this machine
