Maternal and child health is an important public health issue, unfortunately in 2021 there are still preventable deaths that happen due to child birth. There is a lack of prenatal care available to all women, newborn screening, or child nutrition. (1/4)

America spends the most per capita on healthcare, about $10,00 compared to Canada that spends $7,000. Despite being a country that spends more on healthcare than any other country, we lack proper access to healthcare. (4/5)
