This movie is base on true story in year of 1979 when a Siem thieves killed Khmer people. When I think of it. it's very painful.
Ah Siem thieves were very bad to our Khmer! We can’t forget and forgive
Behind the Thai containers and barbed wire is the Cambodian village of Chok Chey, a disputed area now blocked by Thai forces, leaving residents unable to access their homes and some reporting warning shots when they tried to approach. Cambodia maintains that borders here are defined by existing treaties and international law, while Thailand does not recognize the area as Cambodian, a dispute that continues to leave civilians caught in the middle and cut off from their village.
Many homes of Cambodian civilians in Konkriel Sangkat, Samraong City, Oddar Meanchey Province, have been almost completely destroyed due to shelling and bombing carried out by invading Thai troops. As of December 20, 2025, it has been 14 days since the Thai armed forces launched their aggression against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The Thai military has taken civilians and civilian infrastructure as direct targets of attack. Civilian homes, schools, roads, and many other civilian facilities have been destroyed by the Thai military. These actions constitute serious violations of international law, international humanitarian law, human rights, and other relevant international legal frameworks. Civilian homes, schools, hospitals, civilian structures, and private property are not lawful targets of attack in warfare. The Thai military has violated these principles and international laws.

In 1941, Thailand invaded Cambodia and later declared war on the United States and the United Kingdom.¹
In 2025, Thai accusations that Cambodian soldiers fired across the border are again being used to justify an ongoing Thai invasion of Cambodia. Similar claims formed the basis of Thailand’s 1941 invasion of Cambodia. Then, as now, Thailand’s military action was intended to annex Cambodian territory.
Despite full knowledge of Japan’s genocidal conduct in China, including the 1937 Nanjing Massacre in which approximately 200,000 civilians and prisoners of war were killed, Thailand entered into a treaty with Japan on June 12, 1940.² This agreement laid the groundwork for Japan’s subsequent occupation of French Indochina and British Malaya.
After ratifying the treaty, Thailand invaded Cambodia and Laos in January 1941, claiming that French colonial forces in Cambodia had fired across the border into the Thai town of Aranyaprathet. In reality, Thailand had been preparing for invasion for months.³ Within weeks, Thailand forcibly annexed northern Cambodian provinces and western Lao territories.⁴
In December 1941, Thailand and Japan concluded a further agreement providing for mutual military support, with Japan explicitly backing Thailand’s territorial claims covering annexed areas of Cambodia, Laos, Malaya, and Burma.⁵ This agreement secured Thailand’s role as a logistics hub and staging ground for Japan’s conquest of British Malaya and Burma between 1941 and 1942.⁶
In July 1943, Japan rewarded Thailand for its cooperation by transferring to it six provinces of British Malaya and Burma.⁷
During this period, Thailand facilitated and materially benefited from Japan’s use of forced labor to construct the Burma Railway, linking Bangkok to Yangon.⁸ Among the enslaved laborers were 30,131 British and 686 American prisoners of war. Of these, 6,904 British and 131 Americans died as a result of brutal working conditions.⁹
Following the Allied victory in World War II, Thailand was compelled to relinquish all territories it had annexed in Cambodia, Laos, Malaya, and Burma. Britain initially sought punitive measures, including extended occupation of Thailand and potential control over the Thai Isthmus.¹⁰ The United States, however, opposed harsh postwar treatment, arguing that severe demands would destabilize Thailand and the wider region.¹¹
As a result, Thailand faced limited accountability for its wartime territorial aggression.
Now, in 2025, with little apparent collective memory of the consequences of its earlier irredentist ambitions, Thailand is once again invading Cambodia.

The Thai military has used a wide range of heavy weapons, including fighter jets and cluster munitions, to carry out acts of aggression against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Cambodia. Over the past eight days of armed aggression, the Thai military has deliberately targeted civilians, including civilian homes, villages, roads and bridges, schools, hospitals, and Buddhist pagoda, temples.
These attacks, involving heavy weapons, aerial bombardment, cluster bombs, and toxic smoke, have resulted in the deaths of 11 innocent Cambodian civilians, including one infant, and injuries to 59 others, as of 14 December 2025.
As of the evening of 14 December 2025, the number of people displaced by the Thai military’s armed aggression has reached 120,814 families, equivalent to 403,601 individuals, including 208,266 women and 97,209 children.
Thailand must bear responsibility for its acts of aggression against Cambodian territory and for deliberately targeting civilians. These actions constitute serious violations of international law and fundamental human rights. #TruthfromCambodia #CambodiaNeedsPeace #JusticeForCambodia #Thailandfirefirst #Thailandlying
