I don’t think today’s change of constitution by the Somali parliament is a “Hawiye vs Daarood” thing despite many people trying to make that the case.
Deni and Ahmed Madobe help elect HSM despite them knowing how crooked HSM is. Mps from PL, SSC-Khaatumo, Jubaland including Gedo were massively pushing for HSM’s illegal amendments of the constitution.
These corrupt politicians love to beat the tribal drum once they fail to get their cut. The Somali parliament has turned into a cesspool of corrupt politicians regardless of their clan and that’s what we need to eradicate.
The idea that Hawiye won a civil war, which wrecked Somalia and pushed it back 40 years, is the most ridiculous argument imaginable. The idea of altering the constitution stems from this faulty 👇🏽reasoning!
Why is the Indian navy operating in the Somali sea, and do they have the authority to detain pirates and take them to India for trial? I'm wondering about the role and presence of the Somali government in this situation.
Madaxweynihii hore ee Soomaaliya Mudane Sheekh Shariif Sheekh Axmed oo si Kulul uga hadlay qabyalada foosha xuun oo uu dalka ku hooggaaminayo MW Xasan.
Ceerigaabo, SSC Khatumo 📍
The locals of Yubbe, Sanaag declare their decision is to join the administration of SSC Khatumo, next steps will be utilising and building a port somewhere along the Sanaag coast. This is a big Guul for all involved, don’t let the haters see 👀#Sanaag
Good governance, self sufficient, and autonomy is the key. Congrats @SSCKhaatumo On Feb 6th, 2023 SSC Khaatumo State spoke loud and clear when it announced self determination, self-sustaining and self governance. Wishing the best of luck as they lead their people and SSC Khaatumo State government. @EU_in_Somalia The Global Partnership for Education under the categories of system transformation grant, girls education accelerator, and system capacity grant to support SSC Khaatumo State of Somalia is essential as they will use those resources transparently @mortensigsgaard@US2SOMALIA@SwedeninSomalia@DKinSomalia@ItalyinSomalia
A serene and peaceful morning in SSC-Khaatumo's capital, Laascaanood.
This peace did not come easy, rather it came through the sacrifice of so many, who shed their blood in defence of our land, and with the grief their loved ones carry.
