My ideological position is that everything that we embrace and do must be African-centered. If it can’t be converted to something that is useful for advancing our struggle then discard it. I think we should try to avoid sectarian debates about the proper ideological approach to our struggle. Our movement should be broad enough to encompass different approaches so long as they are aimed at the same objective. As Malcolm X stated: “As long as we agree on objectives, we should never fall out with each other just because we believe in different methods or tactics or strategy to reach a common objective.”
