Italy Day Commemorations yesterday. It’s always an amazing opportunity to build lasting collaborations with local and international partners.
#ItalyDay2026
Many girls miss school every month because they don't have access to proper sanitary care products. Today,
@AFRIpads and @SanitaryAidZim distributed reusable pads to 150 learners in Mabvuku. We'll keep working toward a #PeriodFriendlyWorld
Spreading the cheer at Zimbiru Secondary School, in partnership with ZB Financial Holdings! All the 400 school girls received their dignity kits, which will help them to be in full control of their periods. Thanks to ZB Financial Holdings for improving lives through service.
We are glad to extend our congratulations to our Executive Director, @nyava68, on being honoured with the prestigious Philanthropist of the Year Award at the 2024 Megafest Women's Business Awards held last month.

We join the rest of the 🌍 in celebrating Menstrual Hygiene Day. As Sanitary Aid Zimbabwe Trust, we believe that menstrual health and hygiene is a basic human right. This year, let's come together to build a world where no one is held back by their period.
#MenstruationMatters🩸
Thank you @HeraldZimbabwe for putting a spotlight on public toilets. This issue not only poses a nightmare for the general public but also exacerbates the challenges faced by women who menstruate.
Our Executive Director, @nyava68 was privileged to be a guest at The Sister Show at 3ktvzim (DSTV Channel 293) hosted by @rumbidzaijoycemunyengeterwa, where thry spoke about all things menstrual health. They spoke about Menstrual Health at the workplace, the importance of including men and boys in Menstrual Health and Hygiene Management issues as well as providing adequate knowledge and information about menstrual health to girls before menarche. They also spoke about distribution of sustainable menstrual products as well as the importance of underwear in menstrual hygiene management. Everyone has a role to play and indeed together we can #EndPeriodPoverty
#HerDignityCounts
Our team had the privilege of visiting Hopley, Harare, where we distributed menstrual cups to dozens of women and girls, enabling them to manage their periods in a sustainable manner. It was an amazing experience as we engaged in insightful conversations about menstruation and recognised its profound role in the miracle of life. By providing these menstrual cups, we aim to empower women and girls to embrace a more sustainable and dignified approach to menstrual hygiene. Menstrual cups not only offer a practical solution but also contribute to reducing waste and promoting environmental sustainability. We are grateful for the opportunity to support the community in Hopley and contribute to breaking down the barriers surrounding menstruation. Through education and access to sustainable menstrual products, we hope to foster a future where every woman and girl can embrace their periods with confidence and dignity.

Menstruation doesn't hold us back; it propels us forward. Let's celebrate the resilience and strength of individuals who menstruate. Your period is not a limitation; it's a reminder of your incredible power. Embrace it! #PeriodPower#MenstrualHealth
It's never a dull moment every time when we are in the field doing distributions and menstrual hygiene and health education. We value the champions who support us in engendering menstrual equity.

We were in Epworth this weekend where over 111 girls received sanitary pads, courtesy of Malone Tawanda Manhanha of @Malz_Closet. We also did a session on menstrual hygiene and it is always a pleasure to openly talk about periods. Together we can #EndPeriodPoverty
Today as we celebrate #MHDay2023, we reiterate our commitment to fully playing our role in the fight to #EndPeriodPoverty. Everyone has a role to play and we cannot afford to be on the sidelines. Let us all fight to normalize periods and foster menstrual equity.
#WeAreCommitted🩸
As schools open for the 2nd term, we reiterate our concern about how the 2023 National Budget slashed the school girls' sanitary wear budget by 80% although the Education Act requires that ALL school girls should be provided with free sanitary wear and menstrual health facilities
