@JustinBrannan@BillAckman That outrage is present and palpable, but always misdirected. It's pointed & the housing provider who is giving over 30% of that rent to @NYCFinance.
You want the electorate to see each other as enemies so that we dont realize it's actually city council & the mayor screwing us.
@AndreEastonBX Rent relief only comes when the city stops raising the cost of operations. Blame @NYCMayor (past and present) for raising water bills and property tax not the Rent guidelines board.
TOMORROW WE MUST SHOW FORCE!!
Stand with us against the Rent Guidelines Board as they prepare to vote for the Rent Freeze
We cannot afford a Rent Freeze when you have Property Taxes going up!!! You're killing us and you'll kill the housing supply in NYC
It’s time for our voices to be heard!
An attack on owners IS an attack on renters!
Let’s let the Rent Guidelines Board know why a rent freeze would be catastrophic towards the mom & pop owners who are already struggling to keep up!

Amidst a housing crisis, New York City now has **57,421** vacant rent stabilized housing units (out of 1m)
Some is frictional, but this number has been growing rapidly
@CMAlexaAviles@CMAlexaAviles as you were canvasing did you let your constituents know that you had personally voted for regulations that drove up housing costs? they need to know who to blame.
The Rent Guidelines Board will decide how much landlords are able to raise the rent for stabilized units this year.
BK’s hearing is coming up. So, we went out to talk with neighbors this AM about testifying!
