Bill DeBlasio and his allies intend on ending the SHSAT- a fair way of admitting kids into specialized schools in NYC. Don't let politicians toy with education.
The closer we get to the end of summer, the more the reality sinks in that the majority of kids in NYC are in an education system led by people with no morals.

“When something is brought to the chancellor’s attention — with the letter not being answered — for the sake of the children, you have to act on it,” Addabbo said.

@nycfair_@NYCMayor@DOEChancellor School district settled suit on behalf of Carranza & paid $75k to plaintiff. He was caught red-handed by school administrator sexually harassing a teacher. So he demoted her & ruined her career. We can see what he does/will do in NYC by what he did in past. #FireCarranza
We need to protect these students from you. You've been sued by numerous women for harassment, gender discrimination, and bullying. You also made up a 6 figure position for Abram Jimenez. A man who was found by the CCTC to have made sexual comments to students. Ridiculous!
THREAD: Today I want to remind NYC that all students—regardless of what country they come from or for how long they have been here—are welcome in @NYCSchools, and we will continue to stand together to lead, protect and defend all children and families. 1/
Why did @NYCMayor hire @DOEChancellor when he had an ongoing lawsuit in San Francisco for gender discrimination and harassment. Now he's under a similar lawsuit from former employees of the NYC DOE.
Link to the first lawsuit is provided below:

Students won't be safe with a Chancellor of Education who is politicizing their education. Who wants to send their young and impressionable students off to school when they could be put under the same racist infrastructure that the NYC DOE is practicing?

@coachyusef I don't have a confirmation of that statistic, however, it is clear that the kids in these disadvantaged schools and zones are not getting proper initiatives that are made to help them. DeBlasio is putting the focus on emotional topics instead of facing real, hard problems.
New York City Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza seems to believe that reforming New York’s public schools will require intensive racial-bias training and large budget increases. Instead, the chancellor should focus on improving the schools academically. https://t.co/X0vHsR1ZHo
DeBlasio's next education initiative should be geared towards magic tricks. His wife can lead the way! Heck, she made 850 million taxpayer dollars vanish. I suppose money meant for the mental health crisis in NYC isn't important enough to keep track of.

Chancellor Carranza's plans to eliminate the SHSAT is another form of telling underserved students that they aren't good enough to invest in. He's telling them that they don't deserve better and appeasing them with consolation prizes of admittance to specialized schools.
Carranza is the Chancellor of putting political pandering ahead of education.
“I don’t know why any elected official, any leader, any mayor would want to divide the city on racial lines and since the chancellor has come on that’s all he’s done,”

This is a real problem. DeBlasio has failed to help underserved schools in NYC after spending over 770 million dollars on a failed education initiative. They used the SHSAT and the hardworking students who pass the test as a scapegoat for their failures.
The SHSAT has helped create a high standard for New York Education. Sadly, high-quality education isn't something Carranza and DeBlasio know how to deliver. Unqualified, money-hungry, cronies lead the largest city education program in our country. We need a change!
Bill de Blasio: "If I were President of the United States, I would insist that Congress pass an amendment to the Amateur Sports Act requiring equal pay for men and women for all of our national sports teams." https://t.co/UWUQty9sXX
More and more homeless people on the streets of Manhattan. Theater district strewn with litter and garbage. Just two examples of the @BilldeBlasio stewardship as mayor of New York and now he wants to be your president. @RudyGiuliani@TheDemocrats
