Couldn't agree more! A good phrase for this is suicidal empathy. There is a sub-class of Americans that feel it's our duty to open our borders to anyone. That it's only fair. Well, we are seeing the socioeconomic impact on Western Europe today. Heighten increases of rape, assault, and murder attributed to those unvetted "illegals". As important, the strain on our healthcare system, housing stock and schools is taxing our capacity and our wallets.
