Lost 10 kg by wheeling women to ultrasound myself instead of sending the students. Started intermittent fasting and eating more protein to lose another 10 kg... only to gain the first 10 kg back in 3 weeks. Fitness will humble you. 😂

HES isn’t routinely recommended anymore due to AKI risk. Some theatres still use small volumes for elective cases, but crystalloids are usually preferred.
