it's so much easier to learn english as a second language than it is to learn filipino as a primarily english speaker istg,, esp with the way all our educational system's set up where we have more opportunities to learn english than our own fucking language lmo

As someone who grew up with the humblest beginnings in the province in the far south, my only access to Pinoy films were those from CinemaOne and Pinoy Box Office late at night and during Holy Week.

With that exposure, I was able to understand na mas malawak pala ang film industry at hindi lang ito sa Hollywood. Meron din tayong pelikulang Pilipino.
