@NYCMayor Before shutting down one of the most used east west thruways for buses, why not increase bus frequency. You’re proposing for buses to go faster but not more frequently. What’s the point - people will still be left waiting. We need more buses. And penalize those blocking bus lanes

At the Committee on Children and Youth FY27 Executive Budget Hearing, I questioned the proposed changes to after-school programming, including the impact on Manhattan Youth programs that serve families across our district.

After-school programs provide safe spaces for young people, support working parents, and offer opportunities for enrichment, learning, and community. As budget negotiations continue, I will keep advocating for the resources our children and families rely on.
