@DoorDash If you can opt out of being offered Walmart deliveries, the system is built to allow me to get taking off others! I'm never delivering from certain places so to speed the process just don't offer them!

@FinanceMaster06 This is only valid in places where there's enough public transit support. For example, this is my commute time.
It also doesn't help that I have to be to work before the first bus runs that would get me close.

Also this pickup was literally 1 mile further than my destination. The ONLY way this would have been towards my destination is if they were going TO my house. AND since I had destination filter on I don't even get a long distance pickup fee.
I was offered this ride when I was over 9 miles and 20 minutes away. I took it because, figured Uber would shift it to another driver, or they would cancel and I'd get a cancellation fee, or I'd get there and they would have forgotten they called one and I'd get a no rider fee.
I just posted an article on @Forbes assessing @Uber's strained relations with drivers, pitting worker pay against corporate profits. Improving relations will be a crucible test for Uber's CEO @dkhos https://t.co/zzhnPxmuD4
This is one of the reasons why Uber and Lyft drivers are pissed and quitting rideshare. Of the 5 rides I had yesterday none tipped. And it was 15°F and snowy. Delivery were the only tips.
Wanted to do this for a while, accepting 20 trips in a row without declining one, let the @uber algo decide where to take me, well results speak for itself. It is tough in LA, no surge on a weekend, no 🍒🍒, all my cost analysis is in the video, watch it and leave comments. Will I do it again? Definitely, drive my way or the Uber way!

Really good article by @jacobzinkula
of @BusinessInsider kind of explains why @uber@lyft markets are oversaturated. Always check with your tax consultant before taking up driving especially for retired folks.

@gadgets4you The trip radar are drivers bidding against each other to take those. They will keep lowering the pay as a new driver matches it. It's a race to the bottom. Maxymo automatically hides that.
@sergioaved Lyft offered me this Friday night. Maxymo declined it so quick I couldn't get a screenshot of the actual request. I just remember it was going south from me. So south of Indy probably.
