Patients have spent years being misdiagnosed, dismissed and left without appropriate treatment.

There is two-tier healthcare system here and the narrative pushed is a lie.

Citizens are locked into a fixed package in a handful of Maldivian hospitals and Cochin. Want treatment abroad? Need approval. Have influence? You get it. Don’t? You wait or pay out of pocket.

MPs choose their own coverage. Thailand. Singapore. World-class facilities. Lifelong. Their families included. They decide. No approval needed. No waiting. This is the difference.

Citizens don’t get to choose their insurance. MPs do. Citizens get rationed access. MPs get anything they want.

And here’s the kicker. During an economic crisis, when the country is broke and not even able to borrow, droning in debt, MPs are increasing their own healthcare benefits.

The fix ppl are asking isn’t charity. It’s matching and to give MPs what cirizens get.

One system.
One standard.
Until healthcare is equal, governance is broken.

We can’t afford to fund their privileges while ppl choose between medicine, rent and food.

Endometriosis surgery is complex. The wrong expertise can mean unnecessary organ loss, complications and loss of fertility

Have you actually researched endometriosis beyond knowing that laparoscopic surgery is used to treat it? Have you spoken to patients living with severe, deep infiltrating endometriosis? (1/2)

@Mamdooh_Yoonus Doctors can be an excellent obstetrician gynaecologist who performs routine laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, ovarian cyst surgery, fibroid surgery etc. That does not necessarily mean they have the specialised training, experience or case volume required for deep infiltrating endo
