WANTED: The NYPD is looking for 31-year-old Angel Carrasco in connection with a homicide on Tuesday, October 6th, which left a young mother dead and her 8-month-old baby hospitalized.

UPDATE: NYPD detectives assigned to the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force with support from the Boston Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested D’Angelo Caraballo and Sneider Mejia overnight in Lynn, Massachusetts for the attempted murder of an off-duty NYPD detective last Friday. The suspects were hiding in the basement of a house when they were apprehended.

🚨 WANTED FOR ROBBERY: On Friday, October 2, 2026, at approximately 1:44 P.M., on the northwest corner of Rochambeau Avenue and East 208 Street, a 33-year-old male victim was approached by two unidentified individuals on a motorized bike. The two individuals stabbed and slashed the victim multiple times throughout the body and proceeded to forcefully remove the victim's chain from around his neck. The unidentified individuals then fled the location on the motorized bike, last seen traveling southbound on Rochambeau Avenue.

TRAVEL ADVISORY: Hey New Yorkers, a nor’easter is on the way! 🌧️💨

If you don’t have to travel, stay home and avoid unnecessary trips. Starting around 2 p.m., strong wind gusts could bring down trees and power lines.

Coastal flooding is expected to begin tonight and could be worst Saturday morning, especially in the Rockaways, around Jamaica Bay, and along Staten Island’s coast. If you live in a basement or low-lying area, know your exits and be prepared to move to higher ground if water starts rising.

Our Officers responded to a 911 call regarding a dispute involving a knife in #Ridgewood. Following an investigation, the suspect was arrested, and this illegal firearm was recovered from their vehicle.

25 years ago our city was changed forever when the USA 🇺🇸 came under terrorist attack. Nearly 3,000 people died, including 23 NYPD members & more due to 9/11 illnesses.

We will never forget the courage & sacrifice of our first responders & all who lost their lives that day.🇺🇸👮‍♂️

While responding to a dispute with a firearm outside a Middle Village residence, Officers along with Intelligence Officers obtained a search warrant for the residence. Upon executing the warrant, Officers recovered 1 Firearm, 446 glassine bags & a large quantity of drugs.
