The @nypd is requesting the public’s assistance locating Charles Hernandez in connection to yesterday’s double homicide in the confines of the 75 Precinct at 551 Van Siclen Avenue.

On June 22, in the confines of the 43 Precinct a 25-year-old male was shot, while another male was viciously assaulted by a group of males.

Earlier today, police officers from the 75th Precinct responded to a call of a male shot in front of 334 Milford Street. When they arrived, they discovered a 35-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the neck.

On 6/2, Sgt. Maher was almost killed by 2 perpetrators that just committed a burglary. Great work by the 44 Squad, Bronx Homicide, Regional Fugitive Task Force, @NYPDHighway CIS, Georgetown PD for apprehending Calife Hough and Jason Velasquez. One cop one team.

This afternoon we lost another member of our NYPD family — Officer Eric Murray passed from #COVID-19 complications.

Eric served the people of NYC for nearly 17 years, first as a Traffic Enforcement Agent, then as a Police Officer. His loved ones are in our prayers.

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Auxiliary Police Sergeant Angel Leon, who died yesterday from coronavirus-related complications. He served the NYPD, & the people of the Bronx, since 1981.

All of NYC is keeping Angel’s family & friends in our prayers.
