While you were sleeping, @NYPD69Pct cops were attempting to locate a perp wanted for GLA, who fled a stolen vehicle on foot. Using infrared FLIR technology, Aviation Unit pilots located the perp hiding in a residential yard, & led ground units to his location. Great #teamwork

While on patrol in Manhattan, SRG officers conducted a car stop in @nypd32pct. The driver was arrested, and an illegal, loaded Springfield 9mm loaded firearm was recovered from inside of the vehicle.

Excellent precision police work by our cops, resulting in safer NYC streets.

Excellent police work by SRG4 officers in the Bronx last night. While patrolling the streets @NYPD46Pct, the officers conducted a traffic stop which led to an arrest. A loaded, illegally possessed 9mm COBRA firearm was recovered from the motorists front right pants pocket.

A slithering snake causing hiss-teria in Manhattan.

Earlier today, @NYPD24Pct officers received 911 calls of a snake crawling up an exterior gate & attempting to enter a basement apartment. Fortunately, @NYPDSpecialops Emergency Service Unit managed to corral the snake & transport it to the nearest @ASPCA.

Great work by our four-legged crime fighter, ESU K9 Coughlin. After the execution of a search warrant @nypdpsa4, Coughlin was sent into the location & successfully sniffed out a loaded, semi automatic, illegal handgun & ammunition that was hidden.

Members of the Emergency Service Unit responded to a person in crisis climbing the George Washington Bridge @nypd33pct on Saturday. After hours of crisis intervention & negotiation with the distressed male, he was safely brought down & taken for medical evaluation. Great work!

Quick response from our Harbor Unit yesterday led to the rescue of a distressed windsurfer in the Rockaways. The surfer ran into trouble in the vicinity of the Marine Parkway Bridge @NYPD100Pct & our members were able to locate him & bring him safely to shore.

Excellent police work by SRG 5 officers in Staten Island. While patrolling the streets of@nypd120pct, the officers conducted a traffic stop which led to an arrest. During inventory of the vehicle a loaded Taurus firearm with an extended magazine was recovered.

Yesterday, officers responded to a 911 call reporting three males stranded in the water near "The Big C Rock." Two males were rescued by our Harbor Unit, while the third was located and rescued by our Aviation and Emergency Service Units. All three were brought safely to shore by @NYPDSpecialOps.
