We truly enjoyed hosting Dr. John Myrga @JohnMyrga who completed his urology residency at @UPMCUrology and additional training in male infertility and mens’s health under Dr. James F. Smith at @UCSFUrology while completing a fellowship in reconstructive urology with @Ben_Breyer@UCSFUrology. John has now returned to the University of Pittsburgh as an attending urologist and Assistant Professor of Urology, specializing in reconstructive urology, male infertility and sexual medicine.
John did an outstanding job during this week’s Male Infertility Microsurgical Course at @WCMUrology, demonstrating excellent microsurgical skills and consistently strong technical performance in both VV and VE animal models. John is a talented surgeon whose dedication, precision, and passion are truly inspiring. Working with talented and motivated young urologists like John is one of the greatest joys of academic medicine. Nothing is more rewarding than watching trainees develop the skills and confidence to become future leaders, advance our field, and improve patient care. We are confident that many couples facing male infertility in the Pittsburgh region will benefit greatly from his expertise and dedication. Congratulations, John—keep moving forward!
