It still works for me. But, TBF, I generally put the people I want to find the most on specified lists. (Like @imUrB00gieman)
I interact with the Follower option than no more than 15 minutes, no more than once or twice a day.
From there, if I see someone I haven't seen in a while on my Follower section, I then go and read several of their posts from their homepage, interacting with those, so that person shows up more on my feed.
Just checked with Grok. And still of that still will work.
