Today/tomorrow our administrative staff from across Area Operations are gathering at the State Training Academy in Dubbo. This group do so much to support our members and communities, looking forward to the outcomes from the forum to learn how we can better support them.

If you're heading away over the Kings Birthday long weekend, we are reminding everyone to drive safely on the roads. With widespread rainfall forecast for many parts of the state, please drive to the conditions and remember to never drive through floodwater.
With this week being National Volunteer Week, we are highlighting some of our fantastic volunteers from around the state, just like Barb Bloomfield. Joining the RFS in 2002, she has served alongside other family members and held the position of Captain and Senior Deputy Captain.

Today the RFS paid tribute to Group Captain Dale Bowles, who passed away earlier this month while attending a car fire in the Moama area.ย At his home on the banks of the Murray River, Daleโs family, friends and RFS colleagues gathered for a Service funeral among the gum trees.
