The goal of individual sustainable choices is not to just do the thing and hope things get better. It's to encourage collective action from enough people to not just decrease demand for harmful alternatives but also hold corps and governments accountable and demand change.

Disney buying Fox was bad because corporate consolidation is bad - people lost jobs, fewer movies get made, there’s less competition, and rep screenings are now more difficult. Stop worshipping brands!
