@Medic968 @boxcar45 @BobbyMilone29 The philosophy should never be to hit HRs. Live by the HR, die by the HR. Philosophy should be to hit the ball where it’s pitched, making solid contact and swinging through the ball.

[JT @nyy_db]

@Medic968 The lineup DESPERATELY need a left handed bat that is a threat. Gardner, Wade, and Odor are not threats, and neither was Hicks before injury. I’ve never seen a team this young overall, yet so slow, so undisciplined, and so inept at some of the basic fundamentals of the game.

[JT @nyy_db]

@SimonettiSource I say ship Sanchez to the Rockies in some sort of deal for Blackmon. Roll with Higgy as your every day catcher and an outfield of Gardner (LF) Blackmon (CF) and Judge (RF).

[JT @nyy_db]

@MLBTheShow @gregmaddux How about a collection of “Trade Deadline Heros”. That would be better than “2nd Half Heros”. Cards such as...

TDH 2008 CC Sabathia
TDH 2004 Orlando Cabrera
TDH 2004 Carlos Beltran
TDH 2000 David Justice
TDH 1998 Randy Johnson
TDH 1964 Lou Brock

[JT @nyy_db]

@gehrigs04ghost @SimonettiSource I’d be will to ship Sanchez to the Rockies in some sort of package for Charlie Blackmon. Rockies would need to kick in some money though. I’d be fine with rolling with Higgy every day at catcher and finding someone else to back him up.

@RiverAveBlues *and the starters didn’t allow any of those 5 runs

@pinstripealley On pace for 45 HR this year

[JT @nyy_db]

@pinstripealley I swear Boone... When you try to be to cute and do something like this, the tendency seems to end up being you lose the game.

[JT @nyy_db]

@ViewsFrom314ft I know it’s only a quarter of the way through the season, but Nationals stink; maybe give them a call about Josh Harrison...?

[JT @nyy_db]

@RepBoebert How about a Distract from All of Thee Above?

@SimonettiSource Why the hell is anyone pitching to Stanton when Judge looks like he is playing bird box when he steps to the plate right now.

[JT @nyy_db]

@SimonettiSource How the hell did it take 3 years to figure this out???
