🇰🇿 A 3-year-old dangled from an 8th-floor window in Kazakhstan.
A stranger leaned out the 7th floor window below and caught her mid-fall.
The hero, Shontakbaev Sabit, got a national medal for it. Well deserved.
@greenytrades Just put solar and battery in. I have definitely become more obsessed looking at the house usage on the app and running around after the family turning lights and heat pumps off 😂
I’m going to be raw tonight because I don’t think we talk about this enough.
Everyone sees the wins, the growth, the audience numbers, the trades that worked, the house purchase, the business doing well, but behind all of that there is a constant weight that most people never see.
Buying a house while juggling tax, managing cashflow inside a business, creating content daily so the brand doesn’t lose momentum, keeping a pulse on markets that can shift sentiment in a single hour, trying to be present in your marriage, trying to maintain friendships, trying to stay sharp physically and mentally, it’s a lot.
Crypto is hard. Business is hard. Life is hard. And working for yourself sounds glamorous until you realise there is no external structure, no guaranteed paycheck, no one telling you what to do next. You are the engine. You are the discipline. You are the one who has to wake up and execute whether you feel inspired or not.
What makes it heavier is that online you rarely see this side. You see the highlights. You see people screenshotting their wins. You see confidence. Conviction. Big numbers. What you don’t see are the mistakes, the round trips, the stress of responsibility, the pressure of knowing people are watching you and expecting consistency.
You don’t see the nights where you’re second guessing decisions or wondering if you’re balancing everything properly. Social media rewards performance, not vulnerability. So most people perform or at least portray that they do.
I just want to say publicly that if you’re feeling stretched thin right now, you’re not crazy and you’re not behind. Most high performers are carrying more than they let on.
If you’re struggling, reach out to someone. Message a friend. Call someone. Send me a DM if you need to talk. I mean that. Because pretending everything is okay and that it’s easy helps literally nobody.
We’re all navigating something and sometimes the strongest thing you can do isn’t flexing a win, it’s admitting you’re under pressure and choosing to keep moving anyway.
The sheer quantity of PTSD lettuce handery I witnessed this week shocked me
