@Lumichaoss Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
After God exalted Jesus into His Son, He declared him as God. First angel, exalted to Son, then God himself named him God.
@Lumichaoss Hebrews 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
Initially He was an angel and God begot him as a Son then declared him as God.
@mmamasaidd There's huge confusion between sin and works of flesh. John 16:9 refers to sin as unbelief not action. Gal 5:19 refers to the works of flesh and not sin, in which even a saved believer can commit. After salvation if we don't feed the spirit then the flesh gains root.
@lanechanged Ephesians 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
Prophets and Apostles lived in different generation but all preached same faith. Jesus who takes away the sin of the world.
@lanechanged Not at all they believed in the coming Messiah who will take away all the sin of the world.

@farmingandJesus many people salvation is centered on their good works. That's why when they fail to keep up with good works, they feel they have lost salvation.
1 Peter 1:23 We are born again through incorruptible word which endures forever.
Man good works are corruptible and useless to depend.
@DanielAugust4D@JoshuaBarzon After salvation there's a battle between the flesh and spirit. If a righteous man doesn't feed the spirit ( preaching the gospel) eventually falls on the side of the flesh.
Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness
@DanielAugust4D@JoshuaBarzon Church of Smyna and Philadelphia passed numerous persecution which kept them focused on preaching the gospel and eventually Jesus promises rewards if they overcome.

@DriverXag@BrysonGray Job 27:2 As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;
God takes away Job's self righteousness to give him God's righteousness.
The reason Job repents at Job 42:6 his because he had man's righteousness.
@DriverXag@BrysonGray Job 27:2 As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;
All those acts of Job in the beginning are similar to Cornelius in Acts 10:2. He was devout but not saved, he receives holy spirit after Peter preached the gospel.
