Thank you @GaSecofState ... for standing-up and enforcing fair elections in the State of Georgia. Thank you for honesty and transparency. You are indeed a breath of fresh air.
@DaveEderer The leaders in city gov historically and current administration as a whole generally resist things that benefit pedestrians and cyclists. Let's see if the step-up now.
Leadership - Look at the deplorable state of Atlanta sidewalks. What have the administration done about it (nothing). On planned infrastructure changes - the city drags its feet, breaks promises, and spends the set aside money on a multi-million Evander Holyfield statue.
@betterbikeshare Very confusing/misleading article because it makes no distinction or clarity between bikes and scooters. Programs are mentioned in different cities where JUMP doesn’t even have a bikeshare presence.
Congrats to @PEDSAtlanta on a great event last night as they "passed the torch!" Sally, you have shown us what's possible and we're in your debt. Cathy, we're excited to work with you on what's next! #EverybodyWalks
@MikeBellATL - - - Freeman hesitates when he gets the ball... he freezes for a moment. It's frustrating to watch because if he just takes the ball and runs he would gain more yards.
Fascinating micromobility example from China. Does it have implications for #scooters in the U.S.? (This headline is deceiving: "Are E-Bikes and Scooters Doomed?") https://t.co/DCFONyIxmX
3 days & almost 200 signatures supporting 6 blocks of 1-way street being turned back into 2-way. The project is in every plan since 2003. Time to stop planning & start doing. Support this simple yet symbolic safety project - sign & pass it on: https://t.co/jAdIbhTUcR
Converting these one-way car sewers in Downtown to safer two-way streets is way, way overdue. This was in the the 2009 master plan for Downtown. What are we waiting for? Do it already, Atlanta. Do it and move on to other stuff. No need to drag this out.
But @ATLPlanning and @RenewATL2015 are abandoning any progress with bike infrastructure by killing-off all the proposed and planned Complete Streets projects.
Get ready for more bike infrastructure in #ATL with the help of @NACTO. Check out @FastCompany's article on the program:
