I was skeptical about Europe’s future, but recent weeks have convinced me Europe is lost. Just let me explain.

Elections in Sweden and Berlin revealed two alarming trends likely to worsen, with disastrous effects on Europe’s prosperity, social cohesion, safety and peace:

1. More young people vote for far-left parties, ignoring their history of shooting those fleeing socialism at the Berlin Wall, or their absurd current communist programs. Those who lacked their parents’ drive to study, work or start businesses now have the easy excuse to blame capitalism and “the rich“ for their laziness.

2. Elections are no longer won with reasonable programs. The left ramps up immigration for votes. Supporting militant antisemitism and promising lifelong welfare is sufficient to get enough votes to win. When in power the left opens borders further for new voters. Just see what is happening in Spain.

It starts to get really concerning, Europe’s future looks like a slow-motion disaster.

The time to decentralize is upon us!

Decentralization is the only political structure that actually disciplines government, and Switzerland's canton system proves it with 700 years of evidence.

Twenty-six cantons compete for residents and businesses. Appenzell Innerrhoden runs differently from Zurich, which runs differently from Geneva. When Basel raises taxes past the tolerance of its engineers and entrepreneurs, those people move to Zug, which has kept its corporate tax rate under 12%. Basel loses the revenue. The lesson writes itself.

Centralization is the villain. Every time a federal authority absorbs a decision that cantons once made, you lose the price signal. You lose the experiment. You lose the exit option. Brussels crushes this mechanism across the EU, which is why French farmers and German industrialists both scream at the same unresponsive bureaucracy with nowhere to go.

Competition between governments constrains Leviathan the way competition between businesses constrains monopoly pricing. Strip away that competition and governments do exactly what monopolists always do: extract maximum value from captive subjects while delivering minimum service.

The canton system works because it keeps power close to the people funding it and gives those people somewhere else to go.

Take power and responsibility out of the hands of bureaucrats thousands of kilometers away. Localize it to within manageable sections, and watch your area flourish.

Consider what it does to a civilisation when entire generations of its best and brightest, its most honourable and courageous, are destroyed fighting a futile war against their brothers.

Modern man.

Modern man is the sociological product of this civilisational trauma. He is disconnected from tradition, suspicious of anything resembling strength, and taught to elevate passivity and tolerance to supreme virtues.

But we know who we are.

Modern man must realise that "Life is warfare", and suffering is an inescapable part of the human experience, and we will rebuild the world they lost.

Während hier Rentner Flaschen sammeln, Schulen verfallen und unsere Infrastruktur immer maroder wird, buttert die Bundesregierung weiter Milliarden in die Ukraine. Für die eigenen Bürger heißt es sparen und verzichten, für die Ukraine scheint es dagegen kein Limit zu geben. Ich möchte diese Politik nicht und wähle deshalb nur noch Parteien, die damit Schluss machen.

Without any family to provide for they don’t see as much reason to work hard anymore.

A lot of men’s jobs are hard and not really enjoyable so without strong incentives many men will just choose not to do them.

Men aren’t motivated to work in and of itself but for what it gets them and that is currently very little for men in this society.

Neuer Gesetzesentwurf der Bundesregierung. Die Beitragsbemessungsgrenzen sollen 2027 signifikant steigen.

D.h. das Netto von allen Menschen, die mehr als 69.000 Euro verdienen, sinkt. Zum Teil sogar sehr deutlich.

Wer bspw. mehr als 106.000 Euro brutto verdient, zahlt 1.220 Euro mehr für Sozialabgaben.

Leistung lohnt sich ab 2027 noch weniger.
