@LemorasCards I want to be positive. At the pace the committee is going, we have seen changes, and while it might not be in our lifetime, I would remain hopeful for a more positive format in the future hahahahhaha.
But seriously- things must change. Adapt or die as it goes.
@LemorasCards I think a larger part of our format issues has to do with our card pool and the effective strategies it encourages when combined with a lack of strict structure competitively.
@LemorasCards I’m all for experimenting in the search for the ideal competitive structure. Before the event I was hyped that draws would effectively be few if any. After the event, the type of gameplay it encouraged combined with random pairings and seat order simulator, I changed my mind…
@LemorasCards Breach the Bay 2/Invi had many many trrrible judge calls. Often for very basic rulings. Pretty sure you could have a whole episode on the testimonials lol
@HigherMTG@playtowinmtg Does it really matter? We know they’re going to unban something inconsequential like Rofellos, Sundering Titan or sylvan Primordial. We’re going to be stuck for another 8-9 months in “Slopfest the Format” pending actual impactful prints to other archetypes besides midrange.
