Everyone's got a system for color, spacing and fonts. Almost nobody has one for motion, so the animations end up feeling random.

Easing scales, duration tokens, spring settings, rules for when something is even allowed to move. I built one for the project we're on right now and the whole site suddenly felt like one person made it.

The sites that feel a tier above usually aren't doing anything fancier. It all just moves like it agreed on the rules first.
