@Amogusman600 @arachidcanine scale is one of the most interesting and important parts of the comic to me personally. I would even dare say that a good part of Karkat’s character is about exploring this very idea. I love Homestuck, and analysing its story is something I greatly enjoy.

In Andrew Hussie’s own words, Kanaya is a Lesbian by our standards. They think of it as a strict preference, we have a word for it.

@Amogusman600 @arachidcanine An essential part of understanding sexuality and the Reason for the quadrants in the story, is that it exists to explore homosexuality from a societal angle, and how even if a “kind” of love isn’t accounted for socially, it still exists. You just don’t have a word for it.
