@techfan27@conservVol Not true at all. Those guys actually generate real NIL dollars and not this bastardized version of it aka pay for play. You saw both in enough commercials to know I'm speaking facts. Wake me when Felix Ojo or Micah Hudson promote anything.
@lair_kirk@ClintRLamb The cfp committee not factoring in strength of schedule & only counting losses w/out considering who teams play or beat. That was his whole point. He could've used Notre Dame as an example but they play SMU, BYU & Miami which is much tougher than Tech's schedule but still easy.
@lair_kirk@ClintRLamb And once again, he didn't say that either. He said his 2s & 3s could go undefeated against Tech's schedule. What's the difference? BYU & Utah are largely considered the biggest in conference threats to Tech and they aren't even on Tech's schedule either.
@OneFlagg@MavsFilmRoom Even with Luka we were still in desperate need of a secondary and 3rd ball-handler. It's why Luka needed/needs a Brunson/Kyrie/Reeves to play off him. If not, thr opposition forces the ball out of his hands and immediately watches the offense disintegrate.
@HudyTheBoomer@A_Matthews713 You don't get it man. If Texas doesn't play Tech, TCU & Baylor in Non-conference while also giving up their bye week to also play Houston on top of a 9 game SEC schedule then it means their too scared to line it up.
@RocktheBrockG@ClintRLamb Texas Tech's name wasn't in Sark's mouth because he never mentioned the team and for the millionth time, he talked down on their schedule.
@Vern_Funquist And that team that played in the Pop Tarts Bowl and clearly the 2nd best team isn't even on that extremely weak schedule Sark was referencing.
@ByuSome@MikeCowboys07 Actually Sark's comment was directed at Tech's schedule and not Tech so Sark smack talked everyone he named and the one team he didn't talk smack about was Tech but reading comprehension is really hard these days for some people.
@flatland_sports Texas doesn't need to beef up their resume when they already have the toughest schedule in cfb. Texas doesn't need that game. Tech does. Texas gets nothing out of that game while Tech could lose it and go on and walk to the cfp with an 11-1 record.
@WSTTEX@HornSports Yeah, Texas will have a hard time explaining why they didn't take the opportunity to add Tech to the hardest schedule already in college football. Recruits will see that Texas is clearly scared of Tech even tho they've recently played Bama, Ohio St & Michigan out of conference π
@BudElliott3 Then the Georgia loss doesn't completely knock them out altogether and they get the full credit for three relatively convincing top 10 wins over Vanderbilt, OU and A&M and get in over OU & probably Bama at the least.
@BudElliott3 W/o the loss to Ohio St, the Florida loss doesn't take Texas from #1 to unranked and instead the loss probably drops them between #12-15. Even if they drop some after the close wins against MSU & UK it wouldn't be any more than A&M's comeback vs South Carolina.
@PressureAlways@GeorgeStoia Texas didn't play Tennessee or Missouri. The five top 25 teams he's referring to are Ohio St, Georgia, Vanderbilt, OU & Texas A&M.
@bjones7774@justfactsmaam@D1Softball@samswan26325464 If she goes to Texas, sounds like its where she wanted to go out of HS. I guess its okay when all of those girls transferred back home to play for their dream school Arizona St but when they go to Texas the sport is being ruined by NIL.
@kob3wan@showtimeluka Cuban and company rarely took the draft seriously. They would hit on a player in the draft once every 20 years and then throw away draft picks in trades trying to surround that star with talent.
@BBB8421@MrCongee This isn't true at all. He was mostly compared to Boozer and their ranking went back and forth. Dybantsa reclassified up & Coop was still #1 and then Coop reclassified up to the '24 class and was #1 there too.
