What Was The Mau Mau Uprising?
They were called terrorists, extremists, a “depraved tribal cult”, but the “civilized” enemy they were fighting against had plundered and terrorized their home for centuries before they ever took up arms.
The story of the Mau Mau Uprising is the story of African resistance, of a fundamentally peaceful people, forced for centuries to wage war against the most barbaric creatures that this world has ever known.
The rebellion may have been crushed, but its spirit never died, and through the decades, the people of Africa continued to rise up, each nation driving out the colonizer, one by one.
Its spirit lives still in this age of neocolonialism, embodied by a new wave of sovereignty sweeping across the continent and its diaspora.
In 2024, the Nigerien government expropriated one of its largest uranium mines, the SOMAIR mine, from French mining company, Orano, citing decades of exploitation. The mine, located in the industrial city of Arlit, has produced over 70,000 tons of uranium since the 1970s, with so little of the profits going anywhere towards improving the lives of Nigeriens. Orano, in turn, filed proceedings against Niger at the World Bank’s arbitration court in Washington, and in September 2025, the court barred Niger from selling any uranium from its SOMAIR stockpile. But despite the potential penalty of having its assets and royalties abroad seized by Orano, Niger has chosen to defy this unjust ruling, and go all in on its far more equitable alliance with Russia. With a nuclear deal signed and sealed and plans already laid out to build the West African country’s first nuclear power plants, the future of that relationship is looking very bright indeed!
Of course, you could hardly know any of this from reading this 2024 article by the BBC.

JUST IN: The Oyo State government has announced plans to deploy 2,000 security operatives to ensure a hitch-free coronation of Oba Rashidi Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
For the avoidance of doubt, the solution to Malaria is for malaria medication to become readily and cheaply accessible to vulnerable populations, not to use West Africa as the petri dish for the unprecedented environmental experiment that is genetically modified mosquitoes.
Malaria is one of the most easily-treatable diseases on earth, and where cheap Malaria medication is available, combined with natural immunity built up over thousands of years in African populations, its mortality rate becomes negligible. If American interests gave a single fuck about saving African lives from Malaria, they wouldn't have bombed the continent's largest antimalarial medicine factory, accusing it of links to Al-Qaida, only to later admit that they made the whole thing up as an excuse to bomb something and distract the American public from watching their president get disgraced for fucking his intern in the oval office.
As with every other "solution" proposed for Africa by the bespectacled Microsoft Antichrist, genetic modification of mosquitoes is a solution to a problem that does not exist, the same way GMO corn in a country that loses 50% of its harvest every year, is NOT a solution for food security.
Mosquitoes play a useful role in African ecosystems including preventing unchecked algal bloom (mosquito larvae eat algae), helping with plant pollination, and taking part in decomposition of organic matter. Without mosquitoes larvae fighting algal bloom for example, freshwater fish populations along the Volta Basin would be threatened. How many protein sources in Burkina Faso and Ghana would that destroy? How many jobs dependent on the local fishing economy would that destroy? Has that been assessed before trying to play God with someone else's environment halfway around the world, or is it as usual, "Who gives a fuck, they're just Africans"?

Genetically modifying mosquitoes to become sterile and thus go extinct, would be environmental vandalism on a scale that has never been attempted in human history. It would be like trying to exterminate beetles or ants, but making sure to do so on someone else's continent so that whatever consequences may result will affect them and not you. If Bill Gates wishes to prove that genetic sterilisation of mosquitoes has no disastrous 2nd and 3rd order environmental effects, why can't such an experiment happen in Florida, Texas, Louisiana and Georgia, where they have a fuckton of mosquitoes? Why is it always Africa that should be his non-consenting test subject?
American charity should begin from home. Bill Gates and his kind should stop pretending to "help" Africa when they've not helped California first. First do your experiment at home and make sure to use your White Anglo-Saxon Protestant Jims and Samanthas as the primary test subjects. When it is established using white people as lab rats that these environmental and biological engineering experiments are safe, then you can come "help" us. Until then, we're good!
Africa is not your fucking laboratory.
1/ Public funding to support the UK economy during the pandemic was massive, with the Bank of England's Asset Purchase Facility reaching £895bn, equivalent to six years of NHS England spending.
But who benefited?
Spoiler alert: the wealthiest 0.1%
