Now that everyone knows Akara and Kulikuli business can be lucrative but the price of LPG makes it all discouraging. We might as well encourage people to look for alternative sources in firewood and charcoal. So, that we can completely deforest the remaining bushes we have left.
It's no longer news that the @officialABAT govt is pushing for fuel price reduction but it doesn't look like the FG is aware that more households of mostly low earning citizens need cheaper LPG - cooking gas. LPG is a by-product, why should it be this expensive?
Knowing your LPG cylinder is running at low pressure can cause blood pressure spike. I believe cheaper LPG is also in the path of ensuring food security. Imagine you run Akara business as the first lady suggested and only to find out the price of LPG is eating up your profit.
The power supply hasn't really improved under the new minister but it's somehow more predictable as regards when to expect supply and when not to. I can only hope it gets better and not the opposite with time.
I'm hearing that since Joseph Tegbe became Minister of Power, electricity supply has improved in many parts of Nigeria compared to when Adebayo Adelabu was in charge.
How true is this in your area?
Has your electricity supply actually improved, or is it still the same?
Let's hear your honest experience.
Ire oo.
@ennyola0015 It doesn't click with me too. My opinion is that they either discontinue the NYSC program completed and start something entirely different or just leave it as it is. I even expect more military training. Why should NYSC look like an Owambe party.
@Sistaliano That thing costs at most N420k. You can even get it as low as N75k and even less. Both Lagos and Oyo Governors deserve to be picked up by EFCC if selective justice is not applied.
It looks like when most Americans without Altas sense hear the word Africa or West Africa, the first thing in their mind is "that's Nigeria." It's like they feel like Egypt, South Africa and the rest are not exactly on the same continent. I wonder how they're being thought.
If I have my ways, this guy would be compensated with at least N500M for this treatment or everyone who got involved in beating him gets double of the same treatment.
He was accused of stealing ₦2 million after allegedly breaking into someone's house in Enugu. He was handcuffed and brutally tortured to the point that he could barely see with his eyes.
Throughout the torture, he repeatedly insisted that he knew nothing about the crime. His denial only made the local vigilantes intensify the t()rture, hoping to force him to confess.
But the young man made a powerful statement:
"I swore to myself and my family that I am innocent. I would rather die than admit to a crime I know nothing about."
It was later discovered that CCTV footage from the house completely vindicated him. He was innocent of the alleged crime.
What a world!
What if there had been no CCTV footage to prove his innocence?
What if he had d!ed during the turture?
😭😭😭
Moral lessons: This is the type of case some lawyers are looking for where to buy it and make a very big profit from it.
@ennyola0015 It's like you forgot the old South Western lullaby that says "Tí o bá kà ìwê re, bàtà re à dùn ko ko kà". Meaning you're automatically entitled to a good life with a degree. In other words, the job has been done. You just need to enjoy life. Young people just need re-orientation
Can someone help to reach out to Madam Tinubu. I want to start the Alara and Kulikuli business. I am very ready now. I only need small money: 10 Billion Naira should do. I plan to create more jobs and genuinely alleviate poverty with the project.
@ennyola0015 The competition Dangote needs is not marketers importing refined fuel. The competition he needs is more local refineries. If we can have 2 or 3 more local refineries, that will be better
“YouTube movies are not real movies, they’re jusy content. A YouTube film is not a film, the fact that you shot something for about one and a half hours or two hours and it’s a story and you got people playing and doing all sorts of things, that doesn’t make it a movie.
“If you make a film that is meant for YouTube and you put it on YouTube, the fact that you’ve now called him a film and you market it as a film, doesn’t make it one”.

My tribalistic spirit just doesn't stay active when I see you as a genuine friend - you become a brother that can be more genuine than blood ties. I just won't care what ethnicity your parents belong to until you show you can't be trusted.
