For years we shaved heads before brain surgery. Looked closer: leaving hair doesn’t raise risk of complications and patients prefer it.

@Fly_Sistah I agree that we are ignorant, esp. in language. I was required to take a second language to graduate from high school. I live in Utah. We have a large population bilingual people especially English/Spanish. We don't have the proximity of language crossover over here like Europe

No one wants to hear this but a huge reason why students are increasingly illiterate is because of grade inflation, because parents & admin pressure teachers to pass kids who don’t know the material, because college has become more about printing diplomas than pursuing knowledge.
