Today marks #WorldTurtleDay! All eight of Canada's freshwater turtle species are listed as species at risk—and while saving species at risk may seem like a daunting task, below we're sharing a few real ways you can help support these treasured wetland creatures.
Canada geese are among the first to return to their breeding grounds, beginning to nest in early April. Goslings hatch by late April to early May. These goslings were recently spotted near London, Ont. and captured by Eduardo Pulgar. Thanks for sharing this fantastic sighting! 🐣

The Great Grey Owl, Strix nebulosa, is North America's largest owl. It averages 22in in height, but some reach as tall as 32 inches (81cm).
They inhabit the boreal forests, generally around bogs.
